As a guest here I expect on a Saturday at the pool to have the pool bar open when the pool is filled 20 people. I’m confused why yesterday it functioned perfectly but today there is no music at 1pm and no one to take drink orders or open the pool bar? I went down to the front desk and they were clueless and just like yeah we know this is happening. Two other people called the front desk and they couldn’t seem to find a way to solve the issue.

They then brought up a clueless employee who doesn’t have serving skills to take 1 drink order at a time to then disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time, come back with the drink for one person or a couple. Then she leaves again and comes back with the bill for the drink for the 1 person or a couple. It’s taking her 30 minutes to help 1 person or 1 couple at a time I have been at the pool now for 1 hour and half and no one still has taken my drink order…
I had to go to the downstairs bar to finally get my drink after 1 hour of 45minutes of waiting.

Yesterday within 1 minute sitting down the pool bartender handed us the pool menu for us to order at our convenience.

Consistency matters. Especially at a 5 star hotel during the start of peak season in Arizona.

Not sure how this hotel is classified in google as a 5-star hotel. I stayed here then the Phoenician and the difference is night and day. The pictures are misleading online. The lobby is not that well lit… not a big deal. But the rooms… apparently not all of them were renovated The carpet was different and worn. There was no beautiful red and white checkered furniture or blue accents. Or full mirror in the bathroom.
Overall the hotel was nice and clean. Not bad at all. I simply have higher standards for an autograph collection hotel and am very surprised when google says it’s 5 star but their amenities say otherwise…the complimentary water in the lobby was empty, the woman who checked us in didn’t ask how many room keys we’d like so we only got one.. (minor.. but this all factors into the experience) also… who doesn’t offer water as an amenity Go green but be prepared to offer the fancy aluminum water upon arrival… ESPECIALLY if you’re advertised as a 5 star hotel.. don’t have it listed in the app as an amenity

The Camby Hotel is a delightful experience from the moment you walk through the door. Located in the heart of the Biltmore area, it boasts a cool and inviting ambiance that sets the tone for a fun stay.||||The bar and restaurant serve an excellent cheeseburger, along with a fantastic breakfast menu that is sure to satisfy. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, as are the valet team, making you feel right at home from the start.||||One of the unique offerings at The Camby is the complimentary bicycles available for guests. You can easily ride across the street to the mall via an underground tunnel or take a leisurely ride through the picturesque neighborhoods—early morning is the best time to enjoy this!||||The rooms are nothing short of luxurious, featuring high-quality linens, comfortable beds, and well-equipped bathrooms with all the necessary amenities. There's really not much to complain about in terms of comfort.||||While the pool area is a bit small, the hotel has done a commendable job making it a tranquil rooftop oasis. Additionally, The Camby offers a well-equipped gym and conference rooms for those in need of meeting spaces.||||During my stay, there was a popular magic show happening in one of the conference rooms. Many guests spoke highly of it, but unfortunately, it was sold out by the time I inquired. If you're in the area and the show is available, I highly recommend checking it out!||||This hotel is one of my favorites in the area, especially after its recent renovations. It truly stands out in my book, having once been a Ritz Carlton many years ago. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, fun, and a great location, The Camby Hotel is an excellent choice!

My wife and I unfortunately had the displeasure of staying at the Camby from October 11-13, 2024, while our nearby home was undergoing replacement of plumbing lines. We both drove vehicles and had them valet. Although there is a sign on the front of the building with the valet rates, we didn’t notice that until Sunday. Upon checking out we discovered that we were charged $175 for parking for our two vehicles. There is no free parking or public parking available nearby. You must valet or risk getting your vehicle towed. We estimate having tipped the valet throughout our stay at least $70.00, something we would not have done had we had knowledge that we were paying $60 a day to park our two vehicles.||The first thing we encountered upon checking into our room is that our in-room refrigerator was not working. It was repaired the following day; however, it took an additional day to cool down to a desired temperature, and we ended up using our traveling cooler instead.||The second thing we encountered was that the room was in disrepair. The electric curtains no longer worked and opening and closing them was no easy task. ||The third thing we noticed was that our bathroom toilet paper dispenser on the wall was broken and in disrepair.||And finally, when we woke up on Sunday to watch the NFL games starting at 10:00 a.m., the in-room satellite signal was not receiving, at least in our room (Room 835). The signal never worked throughout the day, and we missed watching the MLB Playoffs and the NBA preseason game from the comfort of our room.

Newly renovated beautifully appointed hotel in a great location 15 minutes from Sky Harbor with fantastic restaurants and high end shopping across the street. Tony at checkin and Matt and his staff of valets were all friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. The room was spotless with updated decor.

Came to PHX on a business trip. I always stay at Marriott's, but the hotel I wanted to stay at was sold out. Choice the Camby because of its uniqueness and boutique feel. Bed and pillows are comfortable, hotel is very clean and modern. Treated like first class as a Marriott property.

The Camby has a very convenient and central location on the Camelback corridor and is across the street from the Biltmore Fashion Park, which offers excellent dining and shopping options. It’s within walking distance or a short drive from the offices of major companies and law firms. The hard product is excellent: comfortable and well-appointed rooms, a good gym, a pleasant restaurant and bar, and a nice pool. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains. The service is terrible: poorly-trained reception staff, no slippers in the room, no water in the room, and room service was delivered in a paper bag with plastic containers and plastic silverware. This was unacceptable at a five-star hotel.

My family, friends and I visited Phoenix AZ to attend a Cardinals game. The Camby is a top notch hotel. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the bed felt great. We especially loved the shower head (Wow!), and the ability to charge our devices throughout the room.
