This place was great! Stayed the night for a gig at the convention with two of my buddies. We all were pretty happy with the cleanliness and attention from the staff. Nice walking distance to Market St and Gay St. The breakfast and snacks were great, but Nina was awesome! She is dedicated and Super hardworking! I told her this place had her bouncing around like a ping pong ball! She was super accommodating and really sweet! Stop and have a conversation with her if you can, it will be worth your time! Thank you, mama!!

As we entered the club lounge we were greeted by a lovely woman named Nina. She was in the midst of cleaning after a morning rush but, stopped to take the time to get to know us, what we needed/wanted & provide us the food schedule. Later in the day as my husband & I were waiting to cross a street downtown Nina recognized us & again took the time to chat with us. Her hospitality, even off work hours were unbelievable! We truly appreciated it! Thankfully we ended our trip the following morning by seeing her in the lounge again. She of course made sure we had a delicious breakfast before heading to the airport. What a wonderful asset Nina is to your company. She just made our stay that much more wonderful!!!!

The hotel is in a great downtown location! The service was good. The room was nicely appointed but the floor was very dirty. My white socks were black on the bottom after walking from the bed to the bathroom just a few times. The M Club was extremely busy at breakfast with only one very pleasant assistant available- Nina. Nina was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. We had to wait for a place to sit. Nina made certain we had the food and we wanted. There should be more staff available during the busy times especially breakfast, to help with food preparation, dishwashing, restocking the coffee machine and plates/utensils, and assuring the tables are clean. Nina did it all! And she tried to greet each guest! Nina - the face of the Marriott brand - did it all by herself. (Nina should not have to do it all by herself.) She made our experience very pleasant!

The M club was hosted by Nina,|the service was exceptional she went above and beyond to take care of my family. Also Earl at the front desk did a great job taking care of us and drove us to dinner and picked us up. Could not have asked for a better experience!!

Great location for UT games! This used to be a Holiday Inn last time I was here. The room was clean with no road noise (parkside). M Club was well stocked and easy to access. Valet parking is the only option, but it was easy to get in and out.

We enjoyed our stay for UTK homecoming weekend. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, and the location is great. We stayed in a park side high floor room, so the road noise was not too loud. The service was top notch with extra sheets and pillows being sent up as soon as we asked. Additionally, the front desk staff realized they had no toothbrushes in their supplies, so they went out of their way to get a toothbrush for us from the Tennessean. The breakfast at the M-club could offer some more options, but the service could not be beat. Nina was attentive and helpful. She was so busy Saturday morning bringing food out, cleaning tables, and tending to the guests, and did it all with a smile on her face. She made the experience pleasant for everyone. On Sunday, Emily from HR was helping her. I asked about the steel cut oats because they were all gone. Emily assured me she would get some more cooking, and to my surprise, she brought a bowl of them to me at the table. She was so sweet and kind to do this. Monday morning we were headed home, and Nina was kind enough to have some oats ready for us before we left (we have a dietary restriction). We appreciated her attentiveness! Emily and Nina go out of their way to serve everyone with a smile and kindness and address any concerns and make it a pleasant experience!

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at this beautiful and classy hotel. The breakfast dining was incredibly remarkable and flavorful. We got the omelet with the Double Gloucester Cheddar Cheese, which was incredible. I am still trying to figure out how they prepared it in a way where it tasted like ground roasted and aged cheese. Incredible! We will stay here again.

Our favorite thing about staying here, besides the overall cleanliness of the rooms and the customer service, is 100% the complimentary shuttle service, which is perfect if you're going to require guests partake of the valet service. Honestly, we came back for this visit largely because of Simon and his kind, easygoing nature, and we'll be back again. Simon does an excellent job at making us feel seen, cared for, and appreciated.
