Posizionato in modo strategico vicino al mall Galleria mi ha lasciato un po' perplesso. Stanze molto grandi con decor nella media e bagni che avrebbero bisogno di migliorie. Colazione non male anche se quando ho chiesto della marmellata per i miei waffles mi hanno guardato come fossi un marziano (infatti la sto ancora aspettando adesso). Ho chiesto un adattatore per le prese americane ma ne erano completamente sprovvisti anche se sono stati piuttosto cortesi nel cercare di aiutarmi. Il giudizio ha rischiato di scivolare verso le due stelle per le attese interminabili per prendere gli ascensori, qui veramente dovrebbero fare qualcosa.

L'hotel è molto vicino al centro e ad alcuni posti interessanti.||Camere pulite e ben arredate.||Colazione di buona qualità. Con un buon servizio e una buona scelta di cibo di discreta qualità.||Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.||Piscina grande e riscaldata. Un bel fitness center.||Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo.||Vicino a molti ristoranti di buona qualità.||Il migliore è The Capital, con le migliori bistecche texane di Houston.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! The rooms were so clean with the most comfortable beds. I had the best sleep of my life. They were very spacious and accommodated my wife and 2 children very well. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff had great customer service. Marriam assisted us during our stay, and she went above and beyond to help us. She is bilingual, which was definitely a plus. They had a parking garage right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. Housekeeping came every single day and had our room spotless. One of my favorite hotels. The location was great! It was near so many different restaurants, near a huge mall, a designer outlet, and the waterfall. There are a lot of great coffee shops nearby as well, highly recommend Minuto. We were very pleased with our stay!

The building is going through some renovations so I’ll give a little grace. Overall a great hotel, prime location, friendly staff very helpful warm and welcoming. The elevator situation was a hiccup, myself and some flight attendants went for a good ride up and down the elevator a good 4 times before it finally scanned out cards and allowed us to select our floors. We did see a couple of small bugs(roaches) in our room, may have come out of the box of requested dishes. Sleeping quarters are perfect, rooms are very spacious. Bathrooms need some updates/renovations. The service was very good, we needed extra towels and bedding and they were sent up immediately. The girls loved it and I took pleasure in sharing one of my favorite past time staycation places with them while being in the city. We used the room for my daughter’s birthday sleepover and reconnect with her little friends after ice skating and shopping at The Galleria.

The ambiance and environment are beautiful. The location is great for walking to anything you need if necessary. The price per night was very affordable, as well as the price for parking. The staff are all so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the stay. It was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay with them again.

The swimming pool was filthy, and people were unwell after swimming. There was no manager onsite who was in charge and could close the pool down. Two groups of people used intimidating behaviour to bully others. The kitchen units are dreadful, and no kitchen equipment is supplied. You need to ask for a kit, which arrives with poor quality and quantity of things. There is no dishwashing powder for the dishwasher, no plug for the sink and no dishwashing liquid. It was poor on several levels. No essential milk is supplied in rooms for coffee or tea. The promised free shuttle worked some days, but other days could not work because of staffing shortages. The staff on the desk were doing a great job, but there was no person in charge of the overall hotel, so there was no one with authority or responsibility to fix things like the shuttle or the pool. The towels were left everywhere, even around the pool, and giant cockroaches were everywhere. There was no shower, encouraging people to wash before entering the pool. |Honestly, I would not recommend this as a hotel at all.

I don’t usually leave hotel reviews, but this place absolutely deserves the highest praise. From the night I checked in on 12/2/24 for my business trip, I had an issue with my corporate reservation. Kyus at the front desk, along with another gentleman whose name I didn’t catch, went above and beyond to assist me. Their kindness and professionalism truly set the tone for my stay.

The restaurant here is a solid 10/10. I was blown away by the quality of both breakfast and dinner. Jared, the waiter who works nights, provided such incredible service that I honestly felt guilty even thinking about eating elsewhere. The food is fantastic, and the team running it is top-notch. The hostess at breakfast (I didn’t catch her name, unfortunately) was also so warm and welcoming every morning—it made starting the day a joy.

I also want to give a big shout-out to Tracey, the service agent, who was so friendly and helpful during my stay, and the valet on Tuesday morning who completed my shoes (that thoughtful touch completely made my day!).

Every single team member I encountered gave off such positive energy. Whoever manages this hotel deserves major recognition because they’ve clearly built an exceptional team.

The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the water pressure and heater are perfect (which is a big deal for me!). This will absolutely be my go-to hotel for future business trips to Houston. The energy, service, and warmth within these walls are contagious. Thank you, Jared, Tracey, Kyus, the valet, the breakfast hostess, and the entire team—you all are the best. A+ all around!

By far the worst Doubletree I have stayed in. The hotel is outdated and needs major repair. check in was chaotic, one 1 person helping. Check into the room, no bar soap in the bathroom. We were like it’s just a mistake. Next morning we checked even the shower gel and shampoo in these big containers were not there. Called room service twice and finally got the shower gel, and the answer we got for the delay was only ONE person serving the 26 floors. Wow!
Expensive everything but not really at standard of Hilton. They have a coffee machine but no plug point. We moved the coffee machine to the bathroom to make our coffee! There was no plug point behind the TV.
Overall I will not recommend this. Stay at someplace other than this place.
