I had a great experience here. It was a really chill pickup/dropoff. I like that it's in a nice hotel. Both employees I interacted with were super cool. The second guy gave me a credit for something I hadn't really considered to be credit worthy. Definitely will rent from here again when I can. Oh yeah, car was nice too.

Great service as always from Avis. The gentlemen who helped me in the preferred line was very helpful and cheerful. Service was fast and the bus pickup and dropoff was seamless to the renal area.

I was slightly disappointed my car has a pretty strong smell of cigarettes and is a 'non smoking car'. I was in a rush and did not have time to swap it out for my short trip.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the DoubleTree Paradise Valley Scottsdale location, specifically with the Avis car rental service. The agent, Brian, was extremely unprofessional and seemed completely unprepared to do his job. The office reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the prominent no smoking sign, which made the environment quite unpleasant.

I was quoted one price over the phone, but when I arrived in person, the price was significantly higher. Brian kept calling someone named Josh, who kept adding unnecessary services and calling it a “manager's special.” Brian even implied that they usually do this to boost the store's numbers during the summer, which felt very dishonest and manipulative.

Overall, this experience was incredibly frustrating and I would not recommend using the Avis service at this location. The unprofessionalism and deceptive practices are unacceptable.

I had a very disappointing experience with Brian at Avis. It was clear that he doesn't quite understand his job, as he struggled with processing a rental. To make matters worse, he was openly talking about quitting while handling another customer's needs. This unprofessional behavior made the whole process frustrating & uncomfortable not only to I, but the party being assisted. I eventually had to call a Uber due to the amount of time the rental process was taking. I hope Avis addresses this issue to improve their customer service.

Brian is very sketchy. Kept calling someone on the phone because he didn’t know how to do his job. He kept referring to a Josh and while on speaker he said to add the minimum damage waiver to my rental and say it’s a managers special. My rate automatically went up $150 from my initial quote. Decided to rent elsewhere. These people are fraud and will rob you blind. Brian and Josh are both swindlers. Stay away from this location at all cost.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Josh at Budget Car Rental in Scottsdale, AZ. Despite having prepaid for a car rental, Josh refused to honor the reservation, claiming there was a discount code missing. He was unhelpful and insisted on charging me double the agreed-upon rate. Instead of rectifying the situation, he forced me to drive an additional 30 minutes to another location that honored the correct rate. Josh's lack of professionalism and attempt to overcharge me left me extremely dissatisfied with Budget Car Rental's service.
