Not that is a pleasure to go to the doctor, but it is a pleasure to go see Dr Saunders. He is old school, writing everything down by hand, really listening and asking questions, and trying to link the root cause of whats and whys. He is always taking his time to get the right diagnosis. His office receptionist is extremely nice, pleasant and helpful. I am highly recommending this practice.

If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!!! This is the ONLY doctor, out of a ton, who actually listens to me and my issues. This is a private practice. He is really sweet with a funny sense of humor. He is old school with this equipment so no computers. He’s thorough with his examinations as well. You can really tell he became a doctor because he cares. I highly recommend man. 🙂

Mis hijos han sido pacientes del Dr. Saunders desde hace 9 años o poco más, Dr. Saunders me ha enviado con los mejores especialistas para mis hijos y ha aclarado cualquier duda que yo tenga con respecto a la salud de ellos, si tienes alguna pregunta el busca inmediatamente la respuesta en sus libros y te da una explicación amplia y detallada de lo que el encuentra. El staff son muy agradables y siempre hay quien te traduzca si es que necesitas. No cambiaría a Dr. Saunders por otro pediatra, mis hijos han sido pacientes de otros pediatras y ninguno más q el Dr. Saunders logró sacarlos del asma. Recomiendo ampliamente los servicios del Dr. Saunders, yo estoy muy satisfecha con la atención que mis hijos han recibido con el y siempre puedes contar con su experiencia médica y su dedicación a la salud de los niños.

I just had to speak on the phone with this man, and I feel sorry for anyone who uses him as a doctor. An insurance card was found in the lobby of my office, and Dr. Saunders was listed as the PCP along with a phone number. I called it, and was greeted very brusquely by the doctor himself. (I expected the number to be to his office.) I explained the situation and asked if his office would be able to contact the patient who had lost the card to let him know we had hit. His answer was, after a deep sigh, "Look, call back after 1:00 or just mail it to us." I agreed and asked for the address to mail it to. He gave me the street address, but then didn't say what town it was in. (Mind you, I'd never heard of him before and the phone number that was listed did not have a Newburgh exchange that I'm familiar with.) I asked him if the address was in Newburgh, and his answer was, "Well, yes, it's Newburgh, of course!" VERY rude. I said, "Well, I'm not familiar with your office, so I didn't know where you were located," to which he responded, "Listen, if I say I'm in Newburgh, I'm in Newburgh, okay? Believe me!" I couldn't get off the phone with this man quickly enough, and I wouldn't use him as a doctor if my life depended on it. I pray for those who have to deal with him on a regular basis.

not sure about the last reviewer but I just spoke with Saunders on his day off on a Saturday. Very helpful and informative and really nice.
