Ho soggiornato qui per diversi giorni. L' hotel è molto curato, il personale molto disponibile. Le camere sono molto grandi e ben pulite. Gradita l' accoglienza con acqua e kit bollitore + tè e caffè. Buona la connessione Wi-Fi, così come la piscina e la sala fitness. Unica pecca, la colazione: solamente cibi classici americani ( patate fritte, uovo, wustrel, pane e burro d' arachidi ) e nulla di europeo, nemmeno un caffèlatte!||Comunque, assolutamente consigliato.

L'hotel è carino, pulito, profumato, le camere sono grandissime e luminose. La stanza dove ho soggiornato era vicina ad una strada moltro trafficata e rumorosa la notte. Tutti i servizi extra sono a pagamento, e il wifi nella hall (gratis) non funziona molto bene. Inoltre il mio minibar era completamente vuoto nonostante avessi fornito la carta di credito.

Siamo di passaggio a Houston, quest hotel molto carino ed accogliente, le camere ampie, moderne e pulite.|Come accoglienza in camera ci hanno fatto trovare un piatto di frutta fresca, davvero molto apprezzato e 2 bottigliette d acqua. |L hotle e comunicante con un centro commerciale molto grande e frequentato.|Parcheggio per l auto coperto e gratuito, molto comodo!

Albergo, senza acqua calda, quando chiesto spiegazione, mi hanno risposto che erano 2 giorni che avevano problemo con l'acqua!!!! Nessun avviso, o tanto meno uno sconto ! Non mi pare giusto che una hotel di 4 stelle non avvisi o almeno delle scuse !

Camere spaziose e pulite.||Tuttavia il rumore dei lavori in corso, durante la notte, tocca livelli inaccettabili.||Il bagno potrebbe offrire di più, a partire dall'acqua calda per la quale occorre armarsi di pazienza.||Incredibile ma vero la wireless Internet è a pagamento.||Il fitness, per le dimensioni dell'hotel dovrebbe essere più ampio (anche in relazione al fatto che lo spazio sicuramente non manca).

Beds are very comfortable in Westin fashion. Executive King was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was great. Had no problems with service and location is attached to the mall (for those interested) and a fairly quick Uber to desirable locations.

As an under 30 year old, tech savvy individual, the TV entertainment setup is maybe the worst I’ve ever seen in the 25 or so work trips I’ve been on this year. It was IMPOSSIBLE to set up anything on this TV, the remote is from the 90s it appears. For someone who travels a lot, my room is my oasis and being able to have at least some relative comfort in the TV setup is important. I’m in Houston about 10 times a year and will not be staying at this hotel nor will I recommend to anyone who travels here on my team.

You may think I’m being petty over a TV setup… but my stay is genuinely drastically worse because of this, I’d rather stay somewhere that focuses on the little things to join the 21st century.The hunt continuous for my Houston repeat hotel.

I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel due to the negative reviews on the Marriott Bonvoy website, but thought I would take the risk due to the excellent location. I'm so glad I did, as our stay of 6 nights was great. Our Executive Room was a great size with lots of room, comfy bed and pillows, 2 TV's, plenty of storage space, a sofa and good sized bathroom. Very handy location to local restaurants across the street. Entry to the Galleria Mall was easy and safe. Some reviews noted that housekeeping wasn't so great, but we had no problems with that. Plenty of free parking in the basement was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal Event Venue at the Westin Oaks Hotel

I recently attended a business conference at the Westin Oaks Hotel in the Galleria, and I was so glad I went. The event, focused on Black tech professionals, was hosted by OBSIDI in the ballroom on the 21st floor, and it was truly a remarkable experience.

First, a quick tip on parking:
While parking is free, getting to the Galleria can be a bit of a challenge, especially during busy times. I recommend arriving early to secure a spot and to avoid any delays caused by traffic. Even if you’re staying close by, plan for the extra time it can take to navigate downtown Houston during peak hours.

The Venue:
The ballroom was massive and beautifully set up. It was an impressive space that allowed for both intimate networking and large group presentations. The layout had separate areas for dining, drinks, and presentations—all in one room but perfectly arranged to maintain flow and comfort.

AV and Presentation Setup:
I was thoroughly impressed with the AV system. The sound quality was excellent, and the mics were hands-free, allowing presenters to speak with ease while moving around. The lighting was also perfect—not too harsh on the presenters but clear enough to ensure the presentation was visible from any spot in the room. The AV team was quick to respond to any technical needs, which is always a huge plus.

Comfortable Seating:
The chairs were incredibly comfortable, which is often overlooked at conferences. I’ve been to events where uncomfortable chairs make it difficult to focus, but Westin Oaks got this right. Attendees were able to stay alert and engaged throughout the event.

Food and Catering:
The food was decent, though there were a few hits and misses. I enjoyed the variety of macaroni and cheese options, though some could have used a bit more seasoning. The highlight, however, was the taco bar—the nachos, fresh guacamole, and queso were absolutely delicious and tasted like they came straight from a great Mexican restaurant. That said, tacos can be a bit tricky to eat during a networking event, especially after shaking hands with dozens of people!

Staff and Service:
The staff at the Westin Oaks were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me to the event without any hassle. I was also impressed by the clear signage directing guests, which was especially important since attendees traveled from places like Atlanta and Canada for this premier conference.

Extra Perks:
The hotel’s location in the Galleria is ideal, with easy access to shops, spas, and more. Although I didn’t stay overnight, the decor was elegant, the bathrooms were spacious, and I loved the full-length mirrors—perfect for a quick photo op!

Overall, if you’re looking for a well-equipped venue for a business conference or seminar in Houston, the Westin Oaks is a fantastic option. It’s a place I would seriously consider for my own future events as a life and career coach. The combination of excellent AV, attentive staff, and great facilities makes it a top choice for conferences.
